Gauja National Park

Gauja National Park is the largest and oldest national park in Latvia. It has natural springs,
sandstone outcrops, and amazing views. Gauja National Park was established in 1973
and spans over 200,000 acres. Though the park itself is not that old, the sandstone was formed over
350 million years ago. The park has multiple caverns, cliffs, and over 500 monuments for you to hike to.

Rundale Palace and Museum

The Rundale Palace and Museum is nestled in the Zemgale Plains in south Latvia. Three rooms
in the eastern wing of the palace are open to the public: Gilt Hall, White Hall, and the Great Gallery. The
exhibitions display applied art, fine art, and historical expositions. Rundale also hosts the Early Music
Festival and classical music recitals. Outside of the palace is an elaborate rose garden spreading for 2.5 acres.

Ventspils

Ventspils is a city located in west Latvia. It has a beautiful beach which has been decorated with the Blue
Flag since 1999, symbolizing neatness and safety. It also has an adventure park with much to do in it.
In the summer it has disc golf, paintball fields, trampolines, a wake park, and more. In the winter there is
multiple hills and parks for winter sports like snowboarding and skiing to take place.
